Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026. Customised template, not legal advice, have it reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

What this policy covers

Verapsy does not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. To run the service, we store a small number of items in your browser's local storage (a mechanism similar to cookies). This page explains what they are.

What we store locally

  • Session token, keeps you signed in. Essential.
  • Cached profile, a copy of your account details for a faster experience.

Functional.

  • Saved results, a local copy of your test results. Functional.
  • Language preference, remembers whether you use English or French.

Functional.

These items are strictly necessary or functional. We do not set advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

Third-party providers

When you pay, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page, on Stripe's own domain. Any cookies Stripe sets there (for example for security and fraud prevention) are set by Stripe on its own site and are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies. Verapsy itself does not embed Stripe scripts or cookies in its pages.

Consent

Because we only use strictly necessary and functional storage, no advertising consent banner is required for it. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this policy and a consent mechanism must be updated accordingly.

Managing local storage

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings (clearing site data / storage). Removing the session token will simply sign you out.
